Watch: ‘Bates Motel’ Gets Psycho in Season 3 Teasers

“I think there’s something wrong with me,” announces Norman Bates as he pulls one of his mother’s floral dresses in close for a blissful hug. If there’s any indication “Bates Motel” will be fully embracing its “Psycho” roots in its much anticipated third season, it’s definitely this haunting image at the end of the newly released teaser below.

A&E has dropped two clips foreshadowing the dark psychodrama to come in the upcoming season of their hit drama, which premieres just one week from tonight at 9:00pm ET/PT. Creators Carlton Cuse, Kerry Ehrin and Anthony Cipriano have done a tremendous job establishing the roots of Norman’s fractured psyche in previous seasons, but it seems Season 3 will finally make the jump and give audiences the Hitchcockian Bates they’ve been waiting for.

“Bates Motel” stars Emmy nominee Vera Farmiga opposite Freddie Highmore, Olivia Cook, Max Thieriot and Kenny Johnson.
