Watch the 2017 Emmy Awards: Live Stream Online
The 69th Primetime Emmy Awards will be broadcast live coast-to-coast on Sunday evening at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS, with Stephen Colbert stepping in for hosting duties. Although “Game of Thrones” isn’t up for any awards (Season 6 was eligible for last year’s ceremony), there are plenty of fan favorites up for big awards this evening, including “Stranger Things,” “The Handmaid’s Tale,” “Westworld,” and “Atlanta.”
Will Elisabeth Moss finally win an Emmy after being shut out six times for “Mad Men” and once for “Top of The Lake?” Will Julia Louis-Dreyfus make Emmy history by winning her sixth consecutive award for “Veep?” You’ll have to tune in and find out.
Even if you don’t have cable, you can’t still watch TV’s biggest night over the air via your local CBS affiliate, or on your computer or a streaming device. Here are the many ways you can tune in and see tonight’s big winners and biggest upsets.
Before the Emmys kick off, you can check out all the red-carpet fashion as well as pre-awards interviews via E!’s “Live From the Red Carpet” show, which begins at 6 p.m. ET. You can also stream the show via E! Now with a cable subscription. Entertainment Weekly and People also have a free pre-show program available on People TV. It will also be accessible via people.com, ew.com, instyle.com, essence.com, and time.com.
To stream the awards ceremony, you have multiple options. First, there’s CBS All Access, which will broadcast the Emmys starting at 8 p.m. ET. Tune in via their website, or with Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, or Android TV. DIRECTV Now, Playstation Vue, YouTube TV, and Hulu Live TV all offer a CBS livestream in certain markets.
Outside of the United States, international viewers in Canada can watch the awards on CTV, at 8 p.m. ET. For those in Australia, the Emmys will be broadcast live on FOX8 in Australia, at 10 a.m. local time on Monday, September 18.
