Watch: ‘Hannibal’ Star Mads Mikkelsen Leads a Short Film… for BoConcept Furniture?

BoConcept’s sleek and modern décor works for not just the set of a spy flick, but also the home of the star of NBC’s “Hannibal.” Here, Mikkelsen plays an unapologetically smooth actor who dabbles in consensual violence with his lover, hitting the mark as a sexy Scandinavian with a lot of secrets.

“We believed that Mads’ strong character and the thrilling punch line would hit home with the audience, and in a crowded viral space we wanted to make something that would be remembered,” said Helle Vangsgaard, Head of Brand & Concept at BoConcept in a statement.

An upcoming Part 2 — a ‘comedy that also inspires global attention,’ according to AOL Platforms’s Maria Molsa — will showcase more of Mikkelsen’s acting range and of the lifestyle that BoConcept wants to sell. Check out the first short below.
