‘Penguins’ Trailer: Disneynature’s Newest Documentary Is All About, You Guessed It, Penguins — Watch
If you need a new documentary that anthropomorphizes animals in your life, it would appear that Disneynature has you covered with “Penguins.” The film introduces us to Steve, whose quest for domestic bliss of the arctic variety is threatened by such predators as orcas and seals. Per the synopsis, “Penguins” is a “coming-of-age story about an Adélie penguin named Steve who joins millions of fellow males in the icy Antarctic spring on a quest to build a suitable nest, find a life partner and start a family. None of it comes easily for him, especially considering he’s targeted by everything from killer whales to leopard seals, who unapologetically threaten his happily ever after.”
Disneynature most recently released “Born in China” and “Ghost of the Mountains.” “Penguins” is due in theaters on April 19, 2019, which happens to be three days before Earth Day.
