Team Coco isn’t making a move just yet.

Following a report by TheWrap that Conan O’Brien would shift to a weekly presence on late-night TV rather than a nightly one, TNT/TBS president Kevin Reilly said no change is in the works just yet.

“Conan remains an invaluable franchise, partner and producer for our TBS brand and we’ll be in business with him for a long time,” Reilly said in a statement. “As the media landscape continues to evolve, Conan will continue to lead the evolution of what a talk show will be in the digital age. At this time, we have no plans to change the format or frequency of his popular TBS show. In addition to Conan’s daily responsibilities to his talk show, we continue to have very ambitious plans that will further broaden and evolve our relationship with Conan.”

Talk of a “Conan” format shift came after Turner CEO John Martin told TheWrap of the change, noting that the show has fared better both creatively and in terms of rating when traveling to such locales as Cuba, Berlin and South Korea; presumably the new format will allow for that sort of move more often. Martin also cited the success of “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee,” another TBS show that airs weekly, and the crowded nature of late night in general.

Insiders told IndieWire that many plans are being discussed about the eventual future of “Conan,” but that nothing has been decided. (O’Brien still has at least a year left on his current contract at Turner.) Martin may have jumped the gun on discussing a weekly “Conan” as if it was a firm plan.

“Conan” has been airing Monday through Thursday since late 2010. Prior to that, Conan hosted “The Tonight Show” for seven months and “Late Night” for 16 years.
