Watch: Awkward Orgasms in Exclusive Clip from IFC Midnight Comedy 'Premature'

“Premature” is a coming-of-age comedy about Rob, a high school boy stuck re-living the day that he lost his virginity. Described as a cross between “Groundhog Day” and “American Pie,” Dan Beers‘ directorial debut screened at SXSW earlier this year.

In this exclusive clip from the film, we witness Rob’s day rewind and begin again. Every time Rob orgasms, he is thrown back in time and forced to begin the same day over again — a day that seems to start off rather awkwardly when his mother barges into his bedroom unannounced and finds him lying on top of his sheets, wearing a damp pair of underwear.
“Premature” opens in select theaters and VOD on July 2. It will expand to Los Angeles on July 25th.
