If you ever wanted to see Christopher Meloni as a “Judge Judy”-like butcher shop owner, today’s your lucky day. In the new trailer for Paramount Digital Entertainment’s new series “Beef,” Meloni hosts a spoof, improv-based courtroom in his neighborhood butcher shop and tons of wacky shenanigans ensue.
A comedy-based mockery on traditional courtroom shows, “Beef” is the latest genre parody series from Paramount Digital following the reality dating show “Burning Love” and the Bravo-roasting “The Hotwives Of Orlando.” Created by Michael Ian Black (“Stella”), Joe Lo Truglio (“Reno 911!”) and Jonathan Stern (“Children’s Hospital”), the show stars the “Law & Order: SVU” veteran opposite Michael Blaiklock, James Pumphrey, and Angela Trimbur. The enticing guest star roster includes Michael Cera, Lizzy Caplan, Luke Cahill, Stephanie Beatriz, Beck Bennett and more.
“Beef” will premiere on November 11 in retailers such as iTunes (TV Store), Vudu, TargetTicket, DirecTV, Dish and Cablevision. Check out the trailer below:
