In the small town of Battlecreek, Henry Pearl, played by Bill Skarsgård (“Hemlock Grove”), has a rare and unusual skin disease that forces him to live in perpetual darkness. With an overprotective mother (Paula Malcomson), a dead-end job at the local gas station, and endless visits to the late-night diner, Henry has little to do and even less to look forward to. But when a gorgeous, troubled girl (Claire van der Boom) shows up to little ol’ Battlecreek, Henry’s life suddenly awakes, and he realizes that there is more to life that is worth fighting for.

Catch the exclusive trailer for the touchingly tragic film, which will world premiere at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on February 6.
