French director Philippe Garrel directs his son Louis in “Jealousy,” a drama that explores a man’s new relationship after he decides to leave his wife and daughter. A subtitled trailer for the film, which first played at the 70th Venice International Film Festival, has been released.

Shot in gorgeous black and white, the film looks at the tumultuous relationship between struggling actor Louis (Garrel) and Claudia (Anna Mouglalis), an artist in her own right.

“Jealousy” will first play in New York on August 15 and will be released in Los Angeles on August 22. It will also be available on iTunes August 19 and on Amazon Instant, Vudu and Google Play on August 26.
