Watch: ‘Community’ Season 6 Trailer Resurrects All Your Favorite Greendale Quirks
“Community’s” alleged series finale aired almost a year ago, but the show is back, resurrected by means of Yahoo Screen. Despite a few sad casting adjustments (Donald Glover and Yvette Nicole Brown are out), it looks like the cult favorite might just be back to its glory days — as the trailer’s overly sonorous narrator puts it, “Everything is new, but nothing has Chang-ed.”
The new trailer features race jokes galore (“I’m nobody’s fourth Ghostbuster” and White Shirley were the standouts), all the pop culture references you’ve come to know and love (“You’re the worst actor I’ve ever directed, and I’ve directed BOTH Wahlbergs!”), a healthy dash of ensemble comedy (and Chang puns), all simmering in a veritable stew of the absurd.
In other words? Greendale is back, baby.
“Community” will premiere on Yahoo Screen on March 17. It looks like the Dreamatorium (and a possible Paintball episode) will be making an appearance — so watch the trailer below for your first sneak peek.
