8 Epic Black Panther Comics to Buy Online

“Black Panther 2” doesn’t arrive in theaters for another year, which gives you plenty of time to read up on the comics and graphic novels that tell King T’Challa’s story. Since making his debut in the 1966 comics from Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Wakanda’s resident superhero has prevailed as one of the more popular characters in the Marvel orbit.
In 2018, over 50 years after debuting as Marvel’s first Black superhero, Black Panther’s standalone film finally hit the silver screen. The Ryan Coogler-directed blockbuster raked in over $1 billion at the box office, becoming one of the most successful films in the MCU franchise. Coogler’s long-awaited “Black Panther” sequel is slated to hit theaters in 2022, and while we don’t know much about the plot (and fans are still grieving the death of Chadwick Boseman), comic books are the best way to learn more about Black Panther.
