Watch: Jenny Slate’s Husband Tricks Her and Their Friends Into Being Stars of His Hilarious Short
Have you ever gone to take a photo with your phone and realized, after a few moments of your subject awkwardly waiting to hear a snap, that you’ve got your camera set to video? This has happened to pretty much everyone. But not everyone has turned it into a hilarious short film.

In this clip from “Conan,” “Obvious Child” star Jenny Slate first details how she was hit by a van as a child (yikes!) but then tells the story of how her husband, writer/director Dean Fleischer-Camp, tricks people into thinking he is taking a picture, when really he is taking video that he’s going to later compile into a funny film. Sounds like Fleischer-Camp needs to get his hand on a pair of Google Glasses. The awkward faces people make when they think that they’re getting their photo taken are truly ridiculous.
