It’s no secret that Warner Bros. has been struggling with their DC Extended Universe films. Money-wise, they’re taking in some bucks at the global box office, but critics have torn to pieces the studio’s latest superhero films, “Suicide Squad” and “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Many entertainment pundits, impressed by the first trailer (see below), are betting that “Wonder Woman, ” directed by Patty Jenkins and starring the glorious Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, would deliver.
So then comes an anonymous open letter to the studio’s CEO Kevin Tsujihara from a clearly disgruntled former WB employee detailing how, in the author’s opinion, Warner Bros. has damaged employees lives, laying people off and not holding the senior leadership responsible for the failure of a handful of films.
“What are you even doing?” reads the letter. “I wish to God you were forced to live out of a car until you made a #1 movie of the year. Maybe ‘Wonder Woman’ wouldn’t be such a mess. Don’t try to hide behind the great trailer. People inside are already confirming it’s another mess. It is almost impressive how you keep rewarding the same producers and executives for making the same mistakes, over and over.”

After the accusations, it didn’t take long for director Jenkins to step up and defend her work, writing in a series of tweets that the comments were “entirely false.”
“Woah, just saw this press about ‘WW’ having problems. Are they serious? This is some made up bs right here. Made up! Produce a source, anyone,” she tweeted.

Jenkins continued by telling people to not believe the rumors and concluded with a “real lasso of truth,” stating that “time will reveal [the] letter to be false.”
The film is set to be released June 2, 2017. See all of Jenkins’s tweets below, as well as the mesmerizing trailer.
You can’t because it’s entirely false. Don’t believe the hype people. Someone’s trying to spread some serious misinfo.

Isn’t until you are intimately involved in these things that you realize how totally false these rumors can. Let me reassure you…

Zero about the movie we are making has been called a mess by anyone in the know. Fact.

Real lasso of truth, time, will reveal that letter to be false soon enough. But lame something so transparent in its agenda gets traction.
