Idris Elba Remixes Two ‘Jungle Book’ Songs: Listen To His Version of ‘Bare Necessities’ & ‘Trust In Me’

Idris Elba’s audio work on Disney‘s  “The Jungle Book” extended beyond just voicing the character of Shere Khan.

On Friday, the actor tweeted that he remixed two classics from the new CGI-heavy version of the film, which was directed by Jon Favreau. You can listen to Elba’s versions of the songs “Bare Necessities” and “Trust In Me” on Spotify.

As the tiger Shere Khan in the film, Elba rounded out a cast including Bill Murray as the voice of the bear Baloo, Ben Kingsley as the voice of the panther Bagheera, Scarlett Johansson as the voice of the snake Kaa, Christopher Walken as the voice of the monkey King Louie, and Lupita Nyong’o as the voice of the wolf Raksha.
