It’s been less than a week since threats by hackers presumed to be from North Korea prompted Sony to cancel the theatrical distribution of the comedy. Since then, BitTorrent, independent theaters and even President Barack Obama have weighed in on the situation. Now that the film is available to stream online and is being released in 300 independently-owned cinemas across the U.S. on Christmas Day, people are finally able to check out the controversial film.
