Jay Z Releases ‘Reasonable Doubt’ Documentary ‘RD 20’ To Celebrate Iconic Album’s 20th Anniversary — Watch

Tidal continues with its exclusive video releases, premiering a new Jay Z documentary, “RD 20.” The rapper and hip-hop mogul debuted the 35-minute film to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his iconic album “Reasonable Doubt.”

“This album literally saved my life…I can’t thank you all enough,” Jay wrote on Twitter shortly after the release.

Directed by Scheme Engine, the doc includes interviews and performances, details Jay’s come-up, how the album was created and his impacting legacy on the music industry. “RD 20” is spilt into sections named after tracks from the album such as “Politics as Usual,” “Can’t Knock The Hustle,” “Brooklyn’s Finest” and more. Members of the “Reasonable Doubt” production team like  DJ Premier, DJ Clark Kent and Ski also make cameos discussing Carter’s legacy.

The album was Hov’s debut release and was a critical success that launched him into stardom. Now the 21 Grammy Award-winner, is known as one of the world’s best selling artists of all time, is a self-made millionaire, entrepreneur and investor.
