Netflix may have just pulled off the must-see event of the entire 2018 Emmy For Your Consideration season. David Letterman, who’s not known for participating in many public events — especially when it comes to the Emmys — will join Jerry Seinfeld in conversation at Netflix’s Emmy “FYSee” Raleigh Studios space on Monday, May 7.

According to Netflix, “the two comedians will engage in a conversation about life, comedy and their acclaimed Netflix projects, among other topics, in front of a live audience at Netflix’s FYSee space in its new, expansive 300-seat state-of-the art theater.”

Letterman will be there to promote his Netflix series “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman,” which has included guests such as President Barack Obama, George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai, and Jay-Z. Seinfeld is also on the Netflix payroll, including his stand-up special, “Jerry Before Seinfeld,” and his series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” which returned with new episodes later in 2018.

Series that will be featured in “immersive activations” include “The Crown,” “Stranger Things,” “Black Mirror,” “Orange is the New Black,” “Grace and Frankie,” “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” “GLOW,” “Godless,” “Ozark,” “Mindhunter” and others.
