Walmart Is Releasing a ‘Stranger Things’ Cassette Player Featuring a Sneak Peek of Season 4

The holiday shopping rush hasn’t even started yet but if you’re shopping around for a fun gift idea, there’s a new gadget on the market that would be perfect for fans of “Stranger Things.” The Stranger Things Crosley Cassette Player Bundle, sold exclusively at Walmart, features a throwback design for anyone who loves nostalgia, and a cleverly hidden clue into the upcoming season.
The cassette player bundle, which became available for pre-order on Thursday, includes a cassette tape that holds a secret voicemail from a mystery character from Season 4 of the Netflix series slated to arrive on the streaming platform sometime next year.
A throwback to the ‘80s, this neon-blue cassette player is fully operational, and comes complete with a tape deck, AM/FM radio, tape recording, and Bluetooth. Play your favorite cassette tape (if you still have any) or record your own — and don’t forget to decorate it with eight, reusable vinyl stickers included (all based on the show).
The retro device won’t be released until November 19, which is a week before Black Friday, so you’ll want to pre-order it to make sure that it doesn’t sell out before the holidays.
The cassette player is a part of Walmart’s recently announced collaboration with Netflix to release exclusive products, clothing, and costumes inspired by shows on the platform including “Stranger Things,” “The Witcher,” and the ultra popular “Squid Game” Halloween costumes.
