Well, they sure did fool a lot of people.

In a move that ensured that the TV world will definitely be talking about the show in the two weeks before its premiere, “Westworld” released its much-anticipated, every-spoiler-in-Season-2 video. The season-spanning precap that series co-creator Jonathan Nolan teased earlier today on Reddit sure started off like the show was going through with its plan to give an entire overview of the season.

From an unofficial looking YouTube handle, the video shows Bernard waking up after the events of last season and walking through the park. He gets to the familiar main street area, finding Dolores. Then, all motor functions cease. A player piano starts breaking into a familiar song. Evan Rachel Wood starts singing…Rick Astley.

It is the year 2018, and Nolan and Co. finally killed the RickRoll once and for all. Reddit has reached its TV apex, and in a move of vengeance that we all probably should have seen coming, the famed “Westworld” mystery box opened up just enough to let one of those troll faces peek out.

If you want to see what it looks like when someone has the internet in the palm of their hand before slowly crushing it while gleefully singing “We’re no strangers to looooove…,” watch the full video (which also has a cute little pooch!) below:

And because this whole saga was leading to this point: yes, “Westworld” Season 2 premieres Sunday, April 22 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
