In this exclusive preview for the L.A. Times and EPIX new original series “Hollywood Sessions,” the Best Supporting Actor contenders finally hit the couch to discuss their work.
In this first clip, J.K. Simmons, who co-stars with Miles Teller in Damien Chazelle’s “Whiplash,” jokes that after Chazelle would yell cut, he would keep slapping Teller because his face was just so slappable. (In reality, it sounds like the two were having a lot of fun.)
In the second clip, actor Josh Brolin tries to explain what “Inherent Vice” is actually about. Does anyone know? Brolin, apparently, just wants to see “Foxcatcher.”
The full series will air on EPIX tonight at 8PM EST/PT and will be available at L.A. Times’ The Envelope, EPIX.com, EPIX On Demand and via the EPIX app. Check out the clips below:
