Tribeca Film Festival Close With 'Begin Again,' Formerly Known 'Can Song Save Your Life?'

The Tribeca Film Festival announced today that they will be closing this year’s event with John Carney’s musical comedy “Begin Again” on April 26. The film, formerly titled “Can A Song Save Your Life?,” world premiered at the the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, where it was acquired by The Weinstein Company. It stars Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, Hailee Steinfeild, Catherine Keener and Adam Levine. Carney previously directed “Once.”

“This beautiful music infused New York story encompasses the spirit of Tribeca where music, film and performance play such a key part of this year’s program,” said Jane Rosenthal, CEO and co-founder of the Tribeca
Film Festival.
