The film follows Marie (Bejo) and Boris (Cédric Kahn) who, after 15 years of marriage and two children, decide to get a divorce. Unfortunately, Boris cannot afford to move out until their house is sold, so thus he still lives in the home. Boris demands half of the proceeds from the sale because his renovations greatly increased the market value, while Marie refuses on the grounds that she bought the house in the first place. Thus, they find themselves at an impasse, and soon all their shared frustrations and resentment arise.
