Chris Pine stars in Funny or Die’s latest original short, “Vampire Lawyer with Chris Pine,” which riffs on the culture of blockbuster filmmaking.

The release of “Vampire Lawyer with Chris Pine” comes on the heels of a strong opening weekend for Alejandro González Iñárritu’s “Birdman,” which has been lauded by critics for its critique of Hollywood and the increased amount of emphasis that has been placed on superhero franchises over the past 25 years.

Unlike “Birdman,” which focuses on the psychological toll of blockbuster success, “Vampire Lawyer with Chris Pine” is much sillier — specifically choosing to toy with blockbuster conventions.
