Green and Lieberman will identify and secure distribution partnerships and licensing deals for content produced and acquired by First Look across film, television and short form digital. Green was previously a Senior Vice President of Digital Distribution at the now-defunct Alchemy, prior to which he was a General Manager at Tribeca Film and a Senior Vice President of Marketing and Advertising at AMC Networks.

“Todd brings a wealth of experience with a range of distribution deals, partners and models from his extensive time at AMC Networks and Tribeca Film,” Josh Epstein, Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer of First Look said in a statement.

Lieberman was previously a Senior Director of Content Distribution at NBCUniversal and a Director responsible for distribution relationships at Viacom Media Networks. Green joined First Look in July, while Lieberman has been with the company since April, according to their LinkedIn pages. First Look has also named Lydia Cheuk as its Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs. Cheuk previously spent 15 years as the General Counsel and Director of Business Affairs at Blue Man Group.

First Look Media’s existing distribution deals include partnerships with Vanity Fair and Comcast on “NomiNation,” AJ Schnack’s short-form documentary series on the current Presidential campaign, and with The New Yorker on “The Journey,” another docuseries that follows Syrian refugees as they leave their country. The company also has a deal with Fusion on Schnack’s docuseries “Primaries,” about the presidential campaign, and with Panoply on its first podcast, “Politically Re-Active with W. Kamau Bell and Hari Kondobalu.”

In May, First Look hired Annie Marter as a Senior Vice President of feature film, in an effort to ramp up the studio’s forays into features. Marter previously worked on films including “Sunshine Cleaning,” “Jack Goes Boating” and “Transcendence.” She reports to First Look’s EVP of Programming and Talent, Adam Pincus.

First Look bills itself as a new-model media company that operates as both a studio and digital media company. eBay founder Pierre Omidyar launched the company in 2013.
