Who would’ve thought that a film about a flatulent corpse would be so popular? The answer: Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, directors of “Swiss Army Man” starring Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Dano. After premiering at this year’s Sundance Film Festival to positive reviews, the “Daniels” won the festival’s U.S. Directing Award. The film was then picked up by A24 and had a stellar theatrical run, garnering $4.2 million at the box office.

Now, “Swiss Army Man” is set to be released on Blu-ray, and IndieWire has an exclusive behind the scenes clip where the directors test out the farting corpse for the “motor-butt” scene. Check it out below.

For those unfamiliar with the picture’s plot, the story follows Hank (Dano), a man who is attempting suicide until he sees a corpse (portrayed by Radcliffe) wash ashore. He soon develops a friendship with the dead body and discovers that he can manipulate it like a multi-purpose tool.

“Swiss Army Man” is Kwan and Scheinert’s first film. The duo was previously known for directing music videos for Chromeo, Passion Pit and Foster the People, among others, as well as directing a handful of short films. Radcliffe was last seen in the drama “Imperium” and is working on the action/adventure film “Jungle.” Dano can next be seen in Joon-ho Bong’s “Okja.”
