Ira Sachs‘ latest film, “Love Is Strange,” is already on its way to becoming one of this year’s most beloved films and it hasn’t even been seen by most outside the festival circuit. So for now, this new trailer will have to do.
The drama, which first premiered at Sundance, stars Alfred Molina and John Lithgow as a long-time couple who finally get married after 39 years together. But just as they’re about to settle into married life, Molina’s character gets fired from his job as a Catholic school music teacher. The couple are forced to move out of their apartment and end up living with friends and family — separately. Marisa Tomei, Darren Burrows, Charlie Tahan, Cheyenne Jackson also star.
